Oracle ERP DBA || Must be VA Residents

Oracle Database & System Administrator to support the Agency accounting system, Oracle EBS (GL, AP, AR) and the 25 Oracle APEX applications and the underlying Oracle Databases. This includes quarterly security patching, system and database upgrades, problem resolution and deployments. This role requires knowledge of Oracle EBS and Oracle database features. Experience with applications developed using Oracle APEX versions 21 and 24 and workflow features. This position may require some night and weekend work due to patching.
Key Responsibilities
Quarterly security patching, system and database upgrades, problem resolution and deployments.
Deploy changes for APEX applications.
Maintain Oracle databases, including patching/upgrades, job scheduler, and service requests.
Perform routine data loads via scripts.
Assist in migration of Oracle EBS, APEX applications and databases from on-prem Private Cloud Appliance to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Work independently, communicate with team members, and provide accurate effort estimates.
Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ years experience with Oracle Application database administration version 19.
5+ years experience with Oracle APEX versions 21 and 24, including workflow.
5+ years experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 running in Linux environment.
5+ years experience with Oracle EBS System Administration.
5+ years experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
5+ years experience with Oracle database maintenance, patching/upgrades, creating service requests and resolving issues promptly.
5+ years experience with Oracle database job scheduler.
Strong understanding of RDBMS principles and Oracle database best practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create usable technical documentation.
5+ years experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
5+ years experience writing scripts for routine data loads.
5+ years experience developing and deploying APEX applications.
5+ years experience with waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies.
5+ years experience designing Oracle solutions and software development.
5+ years experience migrating Oracle EBS, APEX applications, and databases from on-prem Private Cloud Appliance to Oracle Cloud.
Experience with Unified Auditing is a plus.
Preferred Experience
2+ years experience in a healthcare environment.
