This is a full-time on-site role for a Payment Specialist located in La Canada Flintridge, CA. The Payment Specialist will handle daily payment card processing, reconcile accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. Responsibilities include analyzing payment data, preparing financial reports, and liaising with internal teams to ensure proper payment and accounting procedures. The role also requires strong communication skills to assist with client inquiries and collaborate effectively with team members. Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve financial discrepancies Proficiency in payment card processing and understanding of electronic payment systems Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including reconciliation and reporting Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Familiarity with financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel, is an advantage Previous experience in payment processing or financial services is a plus
