About the Position The New York office has an opening for a Sales Associate in the Credit and Real Estate Business Capital Formation Group for an internal sales team member focused on Private Wealth distribution. The Associate will support an external Sales Team member and manage various aspects of the internal sales process for current and prospective investors for wire house, regional/independent broker dealer and RIA relationships. The individual will work directly with the external Sales Team and Head of Capital Formation Group. This position offers significant growth and advancement opportunities.
The Credit and Real Estate Business Capital Formation Sales Associate will:
Support external sales team member for their respective region/territory. This includes scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, scheduling roadshows, follow up calls, call campaigns and other day to day internal sales responsibilities
Make proactive daily sales calls to existing and prospective investors to strengthen the firm’s relationship and build brand awareness within PWM
Sourcing new leads and relationships within the RIA and regional/independent broker dealer community
Answering inbound requests from current and prospective investors and coordinating response with their external team member
Work closely with their external sales team member to develop business plan to generate and maximize sales within the territory
Work closely with IR team to manage and develop CRM system focused on PWM to maximize sales and generate sales reporting
Assist with administrative needs when appropriate
The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree from a top university with a strong academic record
At least 2 - 3 years of alternative investment sales experience to wire house, regional/independent broker dealers and RIA
Must be fluent in Spanish- written and oral
Prior work experience in Private Wealth Management a plus
An understanding of broad financial markets and indices
Advance proficiency in CRM systems focused on alternative investments
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent organizational skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong work ethic and desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Series 7 & 63 preferred
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between 100,000 and 140,000
The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
