Global Total Rewards Manager
Platform Science, San Diego, TX, United States
As the
Global Total Rewards Manager , you are the custodian of Platform Science’s compensation integrity. You will manage the day-to-day execution of our global rewards programs across North America, LATAM, and Europe. Your primary objective is to ensure that our $100M+ labor investment is administered with 100% accuracy, providing the foundational data that allows our leadership team to make strategic, high-stakes decisions.
Technical Execution:
Lead the annual merit, bonus, and incentive cycles. You are responsible for the end-to-end integrity of our Workbooks, ensuring 100% accuracy in formulas, eligibility, and budget allocations before they reach the Finance team.
Data Stewardship:
Maintain our global job architecture and salary ranges within Workday. You will ensure that our data is the "Single Source of Truth" for the entire organization.
M&A Support:
Execute the tactical mapping of compensation for newly acquired teams, ensuring a smooth and error-free transition into Platform Science’s unified "One Team" structure.
Compliance Oversight:
Manage global pay transparency, FLSA, and retirement plan audits (401k/RRSP) to ensure we are 100% compliant in every jurisdiction where we operate.
Vendor & System Optimization:
Act as the point person for all benefit vendors and HRIS compensation modules, streamlining enrollment and resolving administrative bottlenecks independently.
Precision First:
You have an "Accountant’s eye" for detail. You catch errors before they leave your desk, and your work never requires a "re-do" by cross-functional teams.
Proactive Ownership:
You do not wait for a "follow-up." You manage your project timelines aggressively, providing regular "Pulse Reports" to leadership on the status of critical deadlines.
Analytical Independence:
You can take raw data from multiple global sources and independently turn it into clean, actionable insights for the CFO and HR leadership.
Experience
7+ years of Global Total Rewards experience, with a focus on core compensation administration and benefits management.
Previous experience working in a startup environment
Ability to work independently and partner with internal stakeholders when necessary
Financial Fluency: Past experience in Accounting or Finance is a significant advantage. You must understand the "math" behind a P&L to manage compensation budgets effectively.
System Expert: Power-user status in ADP, AON Radford, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex nested formulas, and data modeling are second nature).
Communication: Ability to explain complex benefit or pay structures to employees and managers in a clear, empathetic, yet authoritative manner.
Certification: CCP or CBP (or progress toward them) is highly desired.
