Small‑Format Stores Ensuring products are in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Professionals who are proficient in all store areas to complete duties such as cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy.
Team Leader Responsibilities
Deliver guest experience commitments for an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience.
Train team members on Target’s guest experience commitments and operations.
Observe, coach, and hold team members accountable while recognizing positive guest moments.
Analyze guest, financial, and team metrics to identify and act on opportunities, celebrating wins.
Plan daily and weekly workload to achieve sales goals, including merchandising, pricing, and promotions adjustments.
Maintain a safety culture: identify hazards, enforce safety expectations, assist incident response, and report injuries.
Lead pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work as applicable.
Evaluate and onboard candidates, develop team skills, and provide training.
Model inclusivity, authentic communication, and equitable practices.
Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up, and drive‑up while maintaining compliance with beverage laws.
Other duties as needed by business.
Essential Skills
Exceptional guest service and communication skills.
Strong teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving.
Ability to work a variable schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, peak times).
Leadership and accountability for others.
Adaptation to technology and independent workload management.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior retail experience preferred.
Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and operate ladders.
Ability to remain mobile and work in varying temperatures and humidity.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
