Position: Senior Salesforce Technical Business Analyst
Location: Everett, MA
Duration: Through 6/30/26 with possibility of extension
Rate: $60-$65/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with Program Managers, stakeholders, and development teams to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Salesforce initiatives.
Translate business needs into technical requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring stakeholder alignment and approval.
Manage requirements traceability and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder meetings with large and diverse groups.
Create and maintain project documentation including BRDs, SRDs, process workflows, RAIDQs, project plans, user guides, training materials, and meeting minutes.
Analyze inefficient or manual business processes and define requirements for scalable, automated Salesforce solutions.
Develop visual artifacts such as UML diagrams (use case, activity, business process) and web page mock-ups.
Ensure test strategies and test plans adequately cover requirements; support defect triage and resolution.
Provide production support analysis, conduct root cause investigations, and manage stakeholder communications.
Create and manage epics, user stories, and backlogs in Jira; collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Support Program and Portfolio Managers with risk and issue identification, prioritization, and mitigation strategies.
Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and quickly learn complex end‑to‑end business processes and system functionality.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of Technical Business Analyst experience.
Experience with Salesforce implementations and CI/CD practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
Proven experience producing clear, accurate, and timely documentation.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and governmental regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
Experience prioritizing requirements based on business value, risk, and constraints.
Proficiency in Jira for backlog and user story management.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
