Salesforce Business Analyst

The Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business needs into actionable Salesforce requirements. This role supports Agile delivery by gathering requirements, creating user stories, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives while delivering measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for Salesforce initiatives

Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows

Develop and maintain documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, workflows, and requirement traceability matrices

Perform impact analysis for enhancements, defects, and change requests

Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and architects to ensure accurate implementation of requirements

Provide functional guidance on Salesforce features including objects, fields, workflows/flows, validations, reports, and dashboards

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, coordination, and validation of delivered solutions

Support release readiness and post-deployment validation activities

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure readiness of user stories

Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure effective communication and alignment

Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder review sessions

Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to project and delivery leadership

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure proper documentation and communication of changes

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in CRM or Salesforce environments

Strong understanding of Salesforce concepts including data models, security, automation, reports, and dashboards

Hands‑on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments

Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
