
Salesforce Business Analyst

The Salesforce Business Analyst plays a critical role in the evolution and success of our Salesforce‑Financial Services Cloud platform. This role partners with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and administrators to translate complex business challenges into well‑defined features, user stories, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, and refine business requirements into clear, actionable epics, features, and user stories.
Develop detailed acceptance criteria that support effective development, testing, and delivery of high‑quality features.
Collaborate with the Product Owner/Manager to prioritize backlog items and support roadmap planning and incremental feature delivery.
Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, refinement, and release planning, ensuring alignment between business outcomes and technical solutions.
Process Mapping & Business Analysis
Analyze end‑to‑end workflows and business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
Create process maps, journey flows, and functional documentation to clearly communicate current‑state and future‑state designs.
Apply structured problem‑solving techniques to break down complex challenges and propose scalable, sustainable solutions.
Quality Assurance & User Acceptance Testing
Lead and support UAT by developing test scenarios, executing test cases, and coordinating defect resolution.
Partner with developers, admins, and QA resources to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards prior to release.
Track issues, validate fixes, and ensure readiness for production deployment.
Data, Reporting & Adoption
Analyze Salesforce usage data, user feedback, and adoption metrics to evaluate feature effectiveness and identify enhancement opportunities.
Support the definition and tracking of KPIs to measure business impact and product performance.
Prepare clear, concise reporting on sprint progress, backlog health, and key product decisions for stakeholders and leadership.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Enablement
Serve as a communication bridge between business teams, Salesforce administrators, developers, and training partners.
Support training initiatives by providing business context, validating training materials, and assisting with end‑user readiness.
Provide ongoing support during and after implementations to ensure clarity, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting software or platform implementations.
Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business/process documentation.
Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience with Salesforce, particularly Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
Preferred (Not Required)
Familiarity with commercial lending, loan origination, or financial services workflows.
Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps for backlog management, testing, and release tracking.
Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or dashboarding within Salesforce or related platforms.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00 per hour. Eligible employees may receive the following benefits:
