Overview
Our client’s Data Warehouse is based on Snowflake. This role requires strong SQL and data mapping skills. Candidates must be eligible to work on W2.
Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison and knowledge source with stakeholders, product owner and team members.
Work in an Agile environment and take requirements and effectively develop Features and User Stories with the team.
Facilitate and gather requirements with the Agile team, Product Owner, and business stakeholders, including documenting source-to-target data mappings.
Work with Product Owner and other SMEs to refine Epics, triggering creation of Features and User Stories.
Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to refine user story details, acceptance criteria, and establish story points with team members, resulting in stories ready to be prioritized into the backlog.
Participate in identification, quantification and mitigation of project risks and issues.
Work with Application BSAs to identify and elevate impediments to completing requirements to the Scrum Master.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment.
3+ years of experience using SQL to create ad‑hoc queries and analyze data.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in financial services (banking) industry.
2+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS S3.
2+ years of data modeling experience in Erwin or other modeling tools.
2+ years of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.
2+ years of data mapping experience creating source‑to‑target mappings.
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience leading other BSAs on a project team.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH, with a hybrid workplace type.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $50.00 - $57.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental & vision, critical illness, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and PTO/vacation or sick leave.
