Media Manager (Post Production / Marketing Operations)
Contract | Up to $40/hr | 6-Month Assignment (Potential to Extend)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Manager to serve as a key liaison between production teams and internal marketing, publicity, and creative partners. This role is responsible for managing the intake, tracking, and distribution of video assets throughout the production and post-production lifecycle.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you will be handling multiple projects, tight deadlines, and cross-functional collaboration on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the central point of contact for receiving and delivering show/media assets
Coordinate distribution of content to internal creative teams, external vendors, and agencies
Troubleshoot file delivery, formatting, and technical issues
Manage media library, metadata, and asset tracking systems
Track and communicate usage rights and content restrictions
Support special projects including promotional campaigns, sizzles, and events
Coordinate live feed captures and off-air recordings
Acquire third-party footage as needed for marketing content
Maintain media security protocols and oversee asset retention
Partner closely with stakeholders to manage priorities and ensure timely delivery
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in post-production, media management, broadcast, or marketing operations
Strong understanding of video file formats and post-production workflows
Experience working with asset/media management systems and metadata tracking
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace
Comfortable working on Mac systems
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience
Background in video editing or creative production workflows
Familiarity with rights management processes
Experience in a high-volume media, entertainment, or agency environment
Experience with project tracking and calendar management tools
Standard hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Flexibility for occasional overtime as needed
6-month contract with potential for extension (not guaranteed)
