
Analyst, Asset Management (Portfolio Management)

We are seeking an Analyst to support the buildout of a Portfolio Monitoring function within the Asset Management team. This role will focus on tracking portfolio company financials and performance, enhancing data controls through systematic solutions, and leveraging analytics to improve scalability. The Analyst will collaborate closely with Investment, Data Analytics, and Quantitative Risk teams on a variety of cross‑functional projects.
Job Function
Analyze and improve business process workflows, with a focus on data governance and production of recurring portfolio materials and management requests.
Partner with business teams to identify process gaps, and drive automation, and systematic solutions.
Collaborate with our internal technology team as well as external application vendors to design, develop and integrate solutions that deliver scalable, enterprise-wide platforms and robust portfolio data controls.
Generate actionable insights to improve access to portfolio company data while continuously enhancing controls and efficiencies.
Drive the launch of system integrations and standardize portfolio monitoring frameworks across PFS platforms to ensure consistency, scalability, and data integrity.
Job Requirements
1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry; preferably private debt or similar.
Demonstrated track record of academic and professional achievement.
Undergraduate degree with focus on Finance / Accounting / Data Analytics or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities and inter‑personal skills.
Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to perform business analysis, as well as manage and maintain various user relationships.
Product knowledge with bank loans or corporate bonds preferred but not required.
Experience with Portfolio Monitoring and Operational systems including BlackRock Aladdin or FactSet Cobalt, preferred but not required.
Experience with Data Visualization/BI tools (Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, or comparable).
