Job Overview
The Manager, Business Sales role at T‑Mobile leads the hiring, training, and development of a high‑performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a specific geographic area. You will create and monitor sales plans to drive success against sales goals, ensuring your team of account executives excels.
Job Responsibilities
Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn.
Meet or exceed overall sales quota for the assigned region.
Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards.
Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings.
Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful account executives; conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required).
4‑7 years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred).
2 years people‑management responsibilities (Preferred).
2 years telecommunications/technical sales experience (Preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong coaching skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations (Required).
Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one‑on‑one (Required).
A proven track record of high‑yield business sales success (Required).
Well‑honed negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem‑solving (Required).
Familiarity with basic HR/recruiting processes to attract and retain top sales talent (Required).
Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive and productive work environment (Required).
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation Total target cash pay range: $126,600 – $228,300, inclusive of target incentives.
Base pay range: $88,620 – $159,810.
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The actual starting pay will vary within this range based on work location, qualifications, and experience.
