
Directorate Digital Information Dominance Leader

Position: Directorate Digital Information Dominance Leader, GS-1515-13(14) at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
Salary Range: $109,246–$167,830.

Responsibilities To serve as a Directorate Digital Information Dominance leader at North American Defense Command (NORAD) and the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM). Responsible for providing strategic engagement support, requirements advocacy, and focused organizational competencies, as well as building new digital capabilities in support of the NORAD and USNORTHCOM missions, goals, and objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
U.S. citizenship required.
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short‑notice drug testing.
Employee is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance as a condition of employment.
Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or a field directly related to the position. The degree must be at least the baccalaureate level in an appropriate major.
Knowledge of systems analyses, concepts, and techniques in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), data mining, deep learning, distributed computing, optimal heuristic search, stochastic modeling, probability modeling, and data analytics.
Skill in applying advanced methods, assessments, research, and training techniques to the solution of advanced networking, configuration, software, and hardware problems.
Ability to implement data solutions that integrate data access layers across systems utilizing machine learning and other predictive analytic techniques including natural language processing, clustering, decision trees, and association to data.
Ability to recommend cloud technology and develop applications for various cloud service providers' data management solutions.
Ability to analyze cloud technology and develop applications for various cloud service providers' data management solutions and possess Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google Certified Developer).
Ability to create and implement a strategic vision for Data Operations that meets required intent for digital transformation efforts.
