Construction Superintendent – Houston, TX
We are partnered with a reputable Houston-based General Contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across retail, healthcare, restaurant, and broader commercial sectors.
The Role: As Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day‑to‑day site operations from ground‑up through completion
Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and trades
Maintain and drive the project schedule
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Coordinate inspections and ensure quality control throughout the build
Lead daily/weekly site meetings and communicate progress with the project team
Identify and resolve on‑site issues proactively
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
Proven experience on retail, healthcare, restaurant, or commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
Experience working on projects in the Houston market is highly preferred
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project timelines
