The Senior Manager, Commercial Development is the strategic leader responsible for setting and executing the vision, strategy, and operational excellence for the assigned Sales portfolio. This role leads a team of Commercial Development Managers and Senior Commercial Development Analysts, ensuring the highest standards in go‑to‑market strategy, sales planning, execution, and cross‑functional collaboration. Sets the overall vision and strategy for the assigned commercial portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities. Leads, coaches, and develops a high‑performing team of Commercial Development Managers and Senior Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, agility, and innovation. Serves as a key subject matter expert and advocate across all functions — Sales, Marketing, Equipment, Technology, Supply Chain, and Finance — to meet business, customer, and consumer needs. Communicates vision, strategy, and tactical plans to stakeholders at all levels, building transparency, trust, and strong organizational culture. Works directly with customers, from tactical to executive level, to develop and implement new programs at scale. Champions end‑to‑end thinking and decision‑making that benefits the entire business ecosystem. Has strong self‑awareness, is a self‑starter, and leads autonomously. Possesses a strong focus on the needs of Foodservice customers, operators, and consumers. Is a pace‑setter that leads the portfolio, setting Nestlé apart from our competitors. Portfolio Management

Owns portfolio performance, ensuring delivery of sales, profitability, and growth objectives. Oversees the development and execution of go‑to‑market strategies, account acquisition, implementation, growth, and retention plans. Analyzes business drivers, category and channel trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and close performance gaps. Provides strategic input into forecasting, new product launches, and discontinuations, representing Sales in cross‑functional initiatives. Maintains competitive, channel, and customer intelligence to inform and adapt strategy. Team & Project Leadership

Leads and contributes to high‑impact projects that advance commercial priorities and drive continuous improvement. Ensures the team delivers on all responsibilities outlined in the Commercial Development Manager and Senior Analyst roles, setting high standards for quality, execution, and results. Supports Sales teams with customer presentations, joint business planning, and key account initiatives. Fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and functions. Operational Excellence

Drives process improvements and operational efficiencies across the commercial development function. Ensures compliance with company policies, financial controls, and ethical standards. Demonstrates agility and adaptability in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Experience

7+ years of experience in Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and/or related roles. 3+ years leading direct reports and 3+ years in customer‑facing roles. Proven ability to execute sales strategies and deliver results. Foodservice channel knowledge preferred. Advanced business and financial acumen. Advanced skill in communication, leadership, and stakeholder management. Advanced skill in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and CRM systems. Proficient skill level using artificial intelligence business tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot. Advanced knowledge of Foodservice channels required. Basic Qualifications
