Main responsibilities include obtaining consignments and selling Modern & Contemporary Art. Compensation
Compensation:
$90,000+ (Commensurate based on experience). Benefits

Source quality consignments from private collectors, estates, advisors, dealers, etc. Establish estimates and negotiate client terms Assist with research, authentication, and condition reports Proofread catalog descriptions and assist with assets for marketing materials Participate in the expansion of client database Market-specific consignments to valued clients Assist with client services as necessary Assist with formal written appraisals as required Review settlements and wires Education, Experience & Skills
5+ years experience in a major auction house preferred and/or as a commercial dealer focusing on Modern and Contemporary Art; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail Must have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills Public speaking talents are a plus!
