Overview
Ops Tech Solutions Data ANCHOR team is dedicated to solving Operations' challenges using Data and Generative AI, driving exceptional value through four key pillars: developing AI‑powered solutions that enhance operational efficiency, maintaining Amazon's high bar for innovation, embedding long‑term thinking into every initiative, and delivering measurable impact across Field Operations. This strategy positions ANCHOR as both an acceleration partner for worldwide operations and an innovator in automated IT support services, demonstrating significant impact through key capabilities including the development and deployment of GenAI‑powered operational solutions, rapid prototyping and validation of AI solutions for WW Operations, and custom offline analyses generating insights for operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Own large‑scale technical programs across multiple engineering teams from conception through delivery.
Partner with engineering leaders, product managers, and business stakeholders to define strategy, shape roadmap for Data/AI/Science initiatives, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Drive architectural decisions and technical solutions that enable seamless content delivery and discovery at global scale.
Define and drive the technical direction and architecture for large, complex AI tools, ensuring scalability, performance, and long‑term sustainability.
Develop and mentor high‑performing engineers, fostering collaborative and growth‑oriented team culture.
Provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle, championing engineering best practices and ensuring operational excellence for large‑scale production services.
Continuously monitor and report on development progress, quality, and system performance, aligning with business objectives and technical goals.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
4+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is USD 148,700.00 to 201,200.00 annually, based in Austin, TX, USA. Compensation may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
