Proposal Manager

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Proposal Manager located in Huntsville, AL. The Proposal Manager will oversee the proposal development process, ensuring high-quality and timely submission of proposals that align with client requirements and company objectives. Day-to-day duties include managing proposal teams, developing content, reviewing RFPs, ensuring compliance with submission guidelines, and coordinating input from cross‑functional departments. The role also involves facilitating strategy meetings, maintaining proposal schedules, and continually improving proposal processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Proposal Writing, Proposal Coordination, and Proposal Management

Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to interpret RFPs and RFQs

Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills

Excellent communication, editing, and proofreading skills

Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software

Knowledge of federal contracting processes and industry standards

Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field

Experience in government contracting or defense industries is a plus

Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work under tight deadlines
