You’re a storyteller first. You think in hooks, narrative arcs, and emotional beats, not just "content." As a
Storytelling Content Creator (Paid Ads) , you'll take simple insights and turn them into short-form stories that make people stop scrolling, feel something, and act.
BePresent is generating $1M+/month on paid social and we need more great ads. Not more generic UGC, more stories that connect and make people FEEL. You'll own the full creative process from concept to final cut, creating short-form video ads for Meta and TikTok that drive real business results.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work alongside our performance marketing team, and you’ll have something most creators never get: direct visibility into how your content actually performs. Every hook, every angle, every story gets real data behind it, so you're constantly learning what resonates and why.
This role is ideal for someone who's a strong writer and natural on-camera (or behind it), who's obsessed with what makes short-form content work, and who wants to grow into a senior creative role at a fast-scaling company.
You will…
Own creative ad production end-to-end: from concept and scripting to filming, editing, and iteration. You're not reading scripts someone else wrote—you're the one writing them.
Write compelling scripts, hooks, and CTAs rooted in real human emotions and consumer psychology. This role is as much about copywriting/storytelling as it is about content creation
Create short-form video content yourself: getting on camera, working with talent, and producing polished ads ready to run
Edit content using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
Collaborate with our media buyer to run a high-tempo creative testing process: launch multiple angles, hooks, and formats weekly, analyze performance, and iterate on winners
Mine app reviews, social comments, competitor ads, and trending content to fuel a constant pipeline of fresh creative angles
Constantly bring new content formats and ideas to the table and pitch them with conviction

Hands-on creator:
You make content — you're not just briefing others. You can shoot, edit, and ship ads yourself
Strong storytelling:
You can make people stop scrolling and feel something
Camera-comfortable:
You're willing to be on camera or direct talent to get the performance a great ad needs
Creative sharpness:
You have strong instincts for what makes content perform
Editing skills:
Proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
Short-form native:
You understand TikTok, Reels, and Shorts — not just as a viewer, but as someone who has made content on these platforms
Founder mindset:
You take initiative, move fast, and own outcomes
Data-literate:
You combine creative instincts with an analytics mindset, connecting content to business results
A body of work that speaks for itself: a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, portfolio, or anything else that shows you can make content people actually watch
Experience using AI tools in the creative production process
Bonus points if you:
Have grown a brand, product, or personal project through content you made yourself
Have experience with paid ads
Have experience creating viral or high-performing short-form video
Started an ecom brand or app and grew it with content

Salary: $80k - $120k (base + bonus, depending on experience)
