
Registered Dietitian Director – HYBRID!!

$135k-$150k (varies depending on years of experience)
About the Opportunity We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian leader to build and lead innovative food programs that improves health outcomes and expand access to nutritious food across communities.
This is a unique opportunity to shape programs that sit at the intersection of nutrition, healthcare, and health equity, working alongside healthcare providers, community organizations, and multidisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design and execution of comprehensive Food as Medicine initiatives, including medically tailored meals, produce prescription programs, and nutrition support services
Establish scalable workflows, operational processes, and best practices across multiple program sites
Continuously evaluate and refine programming to improve outcomes and participant experience
Build and maintain relationships with healthcare systems, community-based organizations, and program partners
Coordinate cross-sector initiatives that connect clinical care with nutrition services
Support collaboration across diverse stakeholders to drive measurable impact
Partner with clinical teams to incorporate nutrition interventions into care plans
Provide guidance and education to staff, providers, and community health workers
Ensure services are culturally responsive and patient-centered
Oversee program compliance, quality standards, and performance metrics
Track outcomes and implement improvements based on data and feedback
Ensure alignment with regulatory and funding requirements
Serve as a subject matter expert in Food as Medicine and community nutrition
Contribute to thought leadership, presentations, and program visibility
Support internal initiatives, reporting, and special projects as needed
Required Qualifications
New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) or eligibility
ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
5+ years in nutrition, public health, healthcare, or social services
Background managing multi-site programs or provider networks
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
