
Transfer Credit Specialist

Job Overview
Under supervision of the Assistant Registrar for Transfer Evaluation, the Transfer Credit Specialist is responsible for a broad range of transfer credit–related duties. The specialist processes transfer credit evaluations, awards credit in the Student Information System (SIS), collaborates with the colleges and advisors to support enrollment across UNH, ensures the accuracy of student records, and provides service to students in person, by phone, and by email.
Responsibilities
70% – Process transfer credit related items, including Transfer Credit Prior Approval forms and transcripts for multiple campuses, communicate with students and advisors, and maintain and update documentation and course approvals.
15% – Support the Assistant Registrars in any project or research work as bandwidth allows.
15% – Collaborate with other departments including Admissions and academic colleges to improve transfer credit processes from application through enrollment at UNH.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with data processing and computer software applications for a Registrar’s office.
Effective communication and writing skills.
Analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and function professionally under pressure.
Ability to work effectively as a team member and interact with diverse individuals.

Compensation Pay Range $17.57 - $28.96. The pay range for this position is listed above.
