Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Boston, MA, for a Construction Superintendent. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring progress, and resolving issues as they arise. The role also requires maintaining communication with stakeholders, providing updates, and enforcing quality control measures throughout project execution.

Qualifications

Experience in site management, project coordination, and supervising subcontractors

Strong knowledge of safety protocols, building codes, and construction best practices

Proficiency in scheduling tools, project management software, and cost management

Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders

Problem-solving ability and attention to detail for quality assurance and issue resolution

Familiarity with sustainable building practices and environmentally conscious construction is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred

Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License
