Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities
Plan and manage project schedules, including short-interval planning to maintain workflow and productivity.
Coordinate manpower and develop working budgets based on project estimates and timelines.
Oversee daily jobsite operations, including subcontractor coordination, problem resolution, documentation, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and promote a strong culture of safety on the jobsite.
Monitor project progress and control costs by reviewing labor, materials, and equipment expenses on a weekly basis.
Adjust resources and schedules as needed to maintain project profitability while prioritizing client satisfaction.
Apply strong knowledge of construction processes, with particular emphasis on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding and meeting project expectations.
Lead and motivate field teams through effective communication, sound judgment, and collaboration.
Supervise and mentor other construction supervisors and field personnel.
Promote and reinforce jobsite safety practices for all workers and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience in commercial construction supervision.
8+ years of experience managing field operations on commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety practices, and jobsite coordination.
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, higher education, or K-12 construction projects preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and multiple jobsite priorities.
Willingness to travel throughout the state of Indiana as required for project assignments.
