We’re seeking a motivated and experienced
Leasing Manager
to lead our leasing efforts and drive occupancy at
Prentiss Pointe Apartments & The Reserve.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee day-to-day leasing operations and ensure every prospect and resident receives outstanding service. Compensation: Up to $24/hr. depending on previous experience
Leasing Responsibilities
Manage the full leasing cycle, including touring prospects, processing applications, and coordinating move‑ins and renewals
Maintain strong closing ratios and consistently follow up with prospective residents through the decision process
Ensure compliance with application requirements, lease documentation, and renter’s insurance
Execute marketing strategies, including outreach to local businesses, social media management, and resident/prospect communications
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and track performance metrics such as traffic, conversions, and market trends
Plan and participate in resident events and community engagement activities
Operations & Reporting
Accurately track all prospect and resident interactions in property management systems (CRM/Yardi)
Prepare and submit reports, including occupancy and leasing performance
Assist with unit readiness inspections and support lease expiration management
Resident Relations
Serve as a primary point of contact for resident inquiries and service requests, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution
Maintain professional, consistent communication with residents, prospects, and team members
Leadership & Team Support
Support training and development of leasing staff and lead by example to promote a positive team environment
Assist in driving team performance through regular communication and marketing meetings
Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned
Position Requirements
1+ years of on‑site Leasing Consultant or Assistant Manager experience or with customer service orientation
High school diploma or equivalent, college‑level education (strongly preferred)
Industry knowledge (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict resolution skills
Superior sales ability
Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
YARDI experience (preferred)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Basic math skills
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team
Reliable and dependable attendance at the work site
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing assignments and priorities
Superior knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines, state/local/federal laws, and safety compliance.
