About the Role As a Relationship Officer at NBH Bank, you will actively pursue business relationships and provide a full range of business banking services with an emphasis on loans and deposit products, aiming to earn 100% of the client’s relationship. You will develop and expand business relationships by calling on potential and existing clients to offer business loans, deposits, and treasury services; identify consumer and mortgage opportunities; counsel clients throughout onboarding; critically review, analyze, and structure business loans; monitor loan portfolio performance; proactively engage clients, prospects, and referral sources; and promote the bank’s image in the community.

Responsibilities

Provide financial advice and counsel to business clients on credit structure and treasury management products.

Counsel clients on all aspects of the onboarding process, from initial meetings to loan closing.

Maintain contact with borrowers to understand and resolve problems and monitor loan portfolio performance.

Proactively call on clients, prospects, and referral sources to maximize results and grow deposit, treasury, and business lending relationships.

Promote the bank’s image in the community by participating in community activities and development efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Minimum 5 years of banking experience.

Minimum 5 years of successful business‑to‑business development experience.

Desired Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of successful commercial or small business lending.

Minimum 7 years of banking experience.

Completion of bank training or formal credit training program.

Strong credit background with ability to analyze financial statements, underwrite loans, and prepare loan presentations.

Work Environment

Office setting with traditional hours.

Rapid pace work for up to 8 hours continuously.

Physical ability: pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching as required.

Travel up to 50‑60% of time.
