Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: 6750 Benedict Road W East Syracuse, NY 13057
Work Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm. Shift hours and weekends may vary based on business needs.
Pay And Benefits
Salary Range: $72,000 - $98,500 per year

Job Overview The Continuous Improvement Manager plays a key role in executing assigned continuous improvement tasks, managing and overseeing project initiatives for the facilities from inception to conclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a strategic plan for improvements at the facility utilizing FMEA techniques for prioritization.
Facilitate network continuous improvement initiatives and partner with Corporate Sponsor for leadership of the CI program.
Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/workshops to drive cultural change using techniques such as Kaizen, 5's, Visual Workplace, PDCA, Waste Hunting, SMED, OEE, Kanban, KPI’s, Policy Deployment, etc.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation.
Lead Kaizen and Kata events for focused improvement in critical work areas and processes.
Establish metrics to monitor financial savings as compared to established goals and targets.
Develop and maintain annual value stream mapping efforts, CI plans, and calendars.
Teach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful project leadership.
Participate in design, installation, and debugging of tooling and capital equipment as it relates to process improvement.
Drive value stream mapping to define “As-Is Analysis” and the transition to Future State.
Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent.
Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility.
Follow all safety requirements, including Housekeeping, LO/TO, Confined Space, PPE and engage in facility safety efforts.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA, NYSDA, PMO, FDA, assist in maintaining SQF readiness, and HACCP.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or 5+ years manufacturing experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
High proficiency in Microsoft 365/Excel (VBA skills preferred).
Skilled in data analytics/visual data communication.
Knowledge of dairy technology preferred (opposed to just manufacturing).
