Job Description
Auto Field Damage Appraiser
- remote, territory‑based role managing claims both virtually and in the field. Responsible for creating comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims. Serves as a peer mentor with mastered processes. Field position in Connecticut, serving central portion of the state both coastal and inland. The role works closely with repair facilities and customers to ensure timely, fair, and thorough claim resolution. Candidates should bring experience managing a variety of auto claims, conducting vehicle inspections, and utilizing CCC ONE estimating software. Ideal candidate will be located in Connecticut, residing in or near Lyme, Old Lyme, East Lyme, New London, or Groton. Key Responsibilities
Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training. Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files. Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices. Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers. Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities. Supervisory Responsibilities

Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 – $40.99/hour Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – $43.70/hour Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 – $50.24/hour Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
