Overview

The AWS ProServe team is seeking a ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join AWS. In this role, you’ll engage new and existing customers in the Financial Services sector on transformative projects involving IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. You will work with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth. As ProServe’s customer-facing relationship owner, you’ll define business outcomes, build trust, identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, create proposals, and secure customer sign-off of SOWs. After project launch, you will stay connected to ensure delivery of the agreed customer business outcomes (CBOs) as outlined in the SOW. Responsibilities

Lead business outcomes - articulate accelerated customer outcomes through cloud transformation. Execute long-term strategic customer transformation roadmaps with a bias for action to deliver results in ProServe and Platform bookings in the near term. Develop a unified account plan and pursuit plan aligned with the AWS account team (direct sales). Establish executive relationships across Business & Technology groups and secure sponsorship of programs. Establish internal networks within AWS with key organizations: Account Team (OneTeam), Partner team, Global Services, Finance, Legal. Serve as strategic advisor with deep knowledge of customers’ business and the cloud ecosystem. Deliver on annual bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction targets with deals aligned to customer outcomes and ProServe objectives. Support scale through shared learnings across the ProServe team. A day in the life

Lead business development by engaging Financial Services customers and driving high-value engagements. Establish executive relationships and act as strategic advisor with deep knowledge of customer business and technology solutions. Collaborate with Amazon Global Sales representatives for a coordinated approach on key accounts. Create proposals, secure SOW sign-off, and ensure successful project delivery. Monitor projects to ensure delivery of agreed CBOs and maximize revenue potential. Advocate for customers while balancing AWS business objectives. Note: This role may require travel up to 50% to customer sites. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies 8+ years of technology sales or account management experience Experience presenting to C-level executives, IT, and business leaders across organizations Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach Preferred Qualifications
