Hanover Bank is looking for a full-time Residential Loan Closer to join our team! The Residential Loan Closer will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of Residential Loan Closings, preparing and reviewing closing documentation on all residential loan originations, and processing CEMA requests.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare closing packages and review closing documents for completeness, and required compliance with regulatory and underwriting guidelines for all the Bank's residential loan programs to ensure proper standards are met in connection with both internal standards and regulatory guidelines.
Prepare internal settlement statements and review HUD statements for accuracy.
Work as a liaison between Servicing, clients/brokers, and attorneys to resolve post-closing issues.
Preparation of documents, monitoring, and reviewing closing packages prepared by closing representatives to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines, and preparing the transfers for funding.
Participate in special projects as assigned by the Mortgage Operations Manager.
Schedule closings and assist with fundings when the Closing Manager is out of the office.
Coordinate with the closing team on all closing details and information relevant to Loan closings.
Assist with the review of Final Huds and Pre Cd’s for accuracy with the QA/QC team.
Review the Loan file prior to closing for updated Insurance Binders, paid receipts, Escrow holds, and any other conditions that may apply to the loan file.
Assist with Title Pipeline reporting.
Education and Experience
A minimum of 3 years of mortgage experience is preferred
Experience with Mortgage Operations Systems is preferred
Experienced in CD primary home loan closings, investment property closings, and home equity HELOC loans
While prior experience is a plus, we will provide the tools and training you need to succeed

Hourly Wage: $26.00 – $31.00; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level.
