The Senior Cost Price Analyst provides advanced financial, cost, and pricing analysis in support of government and commercial contracts. This role is responsible for developing, analyzing, and validating cost proposals; monitoring contract financial performance; ensuring compliance with FAR, CAS, and company policies; and supporting management decision‑making through detailed cost modeling and analysis. The Senior Cost Price Analyst serves as a subject‑matter expert and mentor to more junior analysts. Act as a liaison for cost proposal‑related matters between Proposal Managers, Service Center staff, and Chenega subsidiaries.

Responsibilities
Provide cost estimating/pricing support for government and commercial proposals (including cost‑type, T&M, and FP contracts)
Provide strategic pricing analysis, making sound recommendations and formulating strategic pricing responses during the government bid and contract pricing process
Perform detailed analysis of subcontractor/supplier proposals and supporting documentation to validate labor, material, and other cost elements for supplier products, and/or services
Participate in cost and pricing reviews with management, customer, and or supplier representatives
Support equitable adjustments, contract modifications, claim support, and termination settlement proposals
Maintain audit‑ready documentation for pricing, incurred costs, and financial analyses
Understand Federal and State regulations that are applicable to Government contracts, such as the United States Code, FAR, DFAR, TINA, SCA, etc.
Coordinate all pricing with the Chenega Corporation Business Services Group and ensure all pricing has their final approval prior to submission to Customer (if we are the Prime Contractor) or Prime Contractor (if we are subcontractor)
Assist subsidiary Program Controllers as required in translating final pricing into projected revenue for budget purposes
Leadership & Mentorship
Provide guidance, review work, and mentor more junior cost analysts or financial staff
Contribute to development of standard templates, SOPs, and pricing tools
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on cost and pricing strategy

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in cost analysis, pricing, or government contract finance
Strong working knowledge of FAR, CAS, and government contract cost principles
Experience supporting federal proposals and contract financial management
Advanced Excel skills, including cost models, formulas, and financial analysis
Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA)
Experience working with DCAA/DCMA audits
Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar government accounting systems
Experience with large IDIQs (e.g., OASIS, GSA MAS, GWACs)
