Summary We are seeking a Data Strategist to serve as the central expert for data and analytics within a marketing organization supporting digital platforms and services. This role bridges strategic marketing initiatives with data-driven insights by defining and driving the analytics roadmap, collaborating with cross‑functional partners, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and experience working in multi‑stakeholder environments to help guide marketing strategy and investment decisions.
Our Ideal Candidate
8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, marketing strategy, business strategy, or related fields
Passion for data‑driven decision making with a strong foundation in analytics, research methodologies, and experimentation frameworks
Proficient in analytics tools, marketing measurement frameworks, and data analysis techniques, with strong quantitative and strategic thinking skills
Familiar with attribution models, A/B testing, match market testing, causal inference, and lifetime value modeling
Skilled in collaborating with cross‑functional teams including marketing, analytics, data science, legal, privacy, and product teams
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in complex, fast‑paced environments
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to present insights to senior leadership
Experience with digital marketplaces, developer ecosystems, platform economics, or technology platforms is a plus
Job Description In this role, you will lead and manage the roadmap for data and analytics initiatives supporting marketing programs. You'll partner with cross‑functional teams including marketing, data science, analytics, and martech stakeholders to develop insights that inform marketing strategies and investment decisions.
This includes defining analytics project priorities, coordinating cross‑functional collaboration, and overseeing data governance and infrastructure initiatives that support marketing data needs. You will independently conduct analyses, explore complex datasets, and synthesize insights to answer key business questions and uncover strategic opportunities.
You will also serve as a liaison between marketing and measurement teams to ensure that analytics projects are aligned with marketing objectives. Additionally, you will champion strong privacy and data governance practices by collaborating with legal and privacy teams to ensure all data usage meets compliance standards.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
Background in marketing analytics, data science, business intelligence, marketing strategy, or related disciplines
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree such as an MBA or similar graduate degree
Experience working in the technology industry or with digital platforms is a plus

The pay for this W-2 position is
$98.51 per hour
