What You Will Do As a Senior Specialty Representative, you will serve as the primary customer contact, promote Amgen products, and provide clinical knowledge to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive utilization.

Lead sales efforts to achieve territory sales targets via branded sales messages, planned programs, and virtual engagement.

Develop and manage customer relationships, customize discussions, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.

Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activity effectiveness, and develop territory plans with District Manager.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn and grow.

Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and focus on patient impact throughout the sales cycle.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and ≥3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a biomedical field (not sales related).

Associate degree and ≥6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a biomedical field.

High school diploma / GED and ≥8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

≥3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry, with product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases.

Local market knowledge.

Established relationships in the territory.

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

Adaptability with Core Competencies: Planning & Organizing, Leveraging Knowledge, Communicating with Impact, Driving Results, Cultivating Relationships.

Compensation & Benefits The expected annual salary range for Senior Specialty Representative in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $124,909–$153,529. Compensation includes base salary, total rewards plan, health and welfare plans, retirement and savings plan, medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, discretionary annual bonus, sales-based incentive plan, stock-based long‑term incentives, time‑off plans, and flexible remote/hybrid work arrangements where possible.
