Social Media Coordinator

Tige Boats, Inc., Abilene, TX, United States

Marketing Department | Mid-Level | Full-Time | Abilene, TX

The Opportunity TigéBoats is one of the most iconic names in wake sports and our social media should match that energy. We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who lives on these platforms, understands what makes content stop a scroll, and knows how to build a brand that people genuinely want to follow.

You’re not here to post for the sake of posting. You’re here to grow a community, drive awareness, and make Tigé the brand that wake and surf enthusiasts can’t stop talking about.

What You’ll Own 1. Own Our Social Presence You’re the day-to-day voice of Tigé across all platforms:

Manage and grow Tigé’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts

Build and execute a content calendar that keeps our audience engaged year-round

Develop platform-native content. What works on TikTok is not what works on Instagram

Write captions that sound like a human being, not a press release, and reflect the energy of the Tigé and ATX brands

Monitor trends and move fast when the moment is right

2. Collaborate with the Content Team Social doesn’t live in a silo. You will:

Work directly with our videographer to plan and brief social-first video content

Coordinate with the Content Operator to repurpose long-form content for social distribution

Partner with the full marketing team to amplify campaigns and drive conversions

Support product launches, events, and dealer activations with compelling social coverage

3. Engage the Community Our audience is passionate and you’ll be the one they hear from:

Respond to comments, DMs, and brand mentions in a way that feels authentic to Tigé

Support identifying brand advocates, ambassadors, and user-generated content

Monitor industry activity and flag relevant opportunities or threats

4. Report on What Matters Good vibes aren’t a KPI. You will:

Track follower growth, engagement rate, reach, and content performance weekly

Report insights to the marketing team with clear recommendations

Continuously test formats, posting times, and content types to improve results

Use data to double down on what’s working and cut what’s not

What You Bring In addition to responsibilities, this role requires:

2–5 years of experience managing social media for a brand (agency or in-house)

A strong portfolio of content you’ve created and grew. Show us the numbers.

Deep native fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts

Experience with short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar)

Sharp copywriting instincts. You know the difference between a caption that lands and one that doesn’t.

Comfort with analytics and reporting using platform-native tools and/or third-party

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines without dropping the ball

A genuine passion for the water lifestyle, wake sports, or outdoor/action sports communities

You’ll create content for a brand people are genuinely passionate about. Tigé customers don't just own their boats, they build their lives around them.

This isn't a "run this one ad account" role. You'll have real creative ownership and responsibility from the start.

You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit marketing team that moves fast and tries new things

We offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package including health and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, and year-round employment.
