
INTERIOR DESIGNER

Overview
You will serve as a SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER in the Planning, Design, and Construction Directorate of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for horizontal coordination of interior design policy issues, program issues, and community management across all NAVFAC Components.
You will provide leadership to other design team members in the areas of Structural Interior Design (SID), Comprehensive Interior Design (CID) to include Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) procurement, interior programming, and space planning.
You will execute design and analyses, utilizing advanced architectural/interior design software.
You will identify areas of risk associated with design and construction and develop mitigation strategies or alternatives.
You will provide technical guidance to Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms regarding criteria application and unique DoD functional requirements.
You will prepare written and oral presentations regarding interior design‑related topics, developing formal presentations to illustrate a complete interior design solution.
You will perform all aspects of interior design for in‑house projects for a wide variety of installation shore facility types.
