Overview
Kings Hammer is hiring a part‑time Marketing Coordinator to support the Columbus market. This role is responsible for executing local marketing efforts with a heavy emphasis on content creation, storytelling, and communication. This position works closely with the centralized HQ marketing team alongside an existing part‑time coordinator to provide strong, consistent coverage across the market.
Role Details

Location: Columbus, OH
Hours: ~20–25 hours per week
Core Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling (Primary Focus)
Capture photo and video content at trainings, games, and events
Edit and publish content across social platforms
Execute weekly content plans provided by HQ
Tell compelling stories around players, teams, coaches, and key moments
Prioritize meaningful content (development, success, outcomes) over volume
Email & Communication Execution
Build and send emails and newsletters through Mailchimp
Execute campaign messaging for tryouts, camps, and programs
Support consistent, clear communication with families
Website & Program Updates
Maintain and update local website pages
Ensure all program and tryout information is accurate and current
Creative Coordination
Submit and manage creative requests through Airtable
Ensure assets are delivered and used effectively at the local level
Local Marketing & Event Support
Support grassroots marketing efforts and local promotions
Assist with sponsorship activation and deliverables
Provide coverage at key events and moments
What Success Looks Like
Consistent, high‑quality content that reflects the level of the club
Strong execution of campaigns at the local level
Clear, timely communication with families
Reliable coverage of key events, tryouts, and programs
Increased visibility of players, teams, and outcomes
Ideal Candidate
0–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content
Strong understanding of social media platforms
Experience with photo/video editing
Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented
Willing to work evenings and weekends for content capture
Passion for sports; soccer preferred
