Territory Manager Overview As a Territory Manager you will embody our core values of collaboration, agility, ownership, and innovation. This role is pivotal in driving profitable sales growth and maximizing sales revenue within a defined territory. You will develop, maintain, and advance existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities. Acting as a strategic business partner to dental professionals you will help them achieve their growth goals and create opportunities for success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Build genuine relationships with dental professionals, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions across Straumann’s Digital, Implant, Biomaterial, and Restorative lines.

Drive profitable sales growth and maximum revenue by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects.

Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities with dentists, periodontists, prosthodontists, dental laboratories, and oral surgeons.

Partner with Product Marketing and Market Communications to support marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives.

Leverage education events to develop customers, build brand loyalty, and gain new customers; participate in Study Clubs and deliver Straumann presentations.

Remain agile, adapting proactively to changing customer needs and market conditions; use sales tools such as SAP CRM to plan and measure activities.

Communicate complex information effectively, staying informed about key clinical studies and scientific papers that support Straumann’s product benefits.

Maintain integrity, high ethics, and professional conduct at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of sales experience in high‑growth corporate markets.

Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to maintain auto insurance coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the medical device industry.

Prior sales experience with physicians as the principal point of contact.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Strong oral and written communication, including presentation abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

Confidence in adapting selling approaches based on customer insights.

Proficiency with consultative selling, including the Challenger technique or similar.

General computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation Annual base salary range $75,000–85,000 plus $55,000–60,000 commission (uncapped). Vehicle reimbursement and mileage provided.
