
Sr. Manager, US Marketing & Events

Job Summary
The Senior Manager, US Marketing position reports directly to the US Marketing & Communications Director and is responsible for all outbound branded communications within the US market inclusive of: managing events, philanthropic endeavors and partnerships. This position works closely with the US Marketing & Communications Director, VP of US Retail and all US Salon Directors to create, execute and implement marketing strategies that incorporate the goals of the brand globally and at the same time are relevant to the individual regions for each Salon as well as across the country.
Key Duties Responsibilities and Accountabilities Strategic Marketing Plan Development
Asses each region’s sales targets and assist them in the development and execution of a consistent strategy that encapsulates the goals of the brand globally
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve yearly sales goal
Closely track and report all marketing related Return On Investments
Luxury and competitive market research inclusive of; events, outreach tools and visual merchandising
Work closely with and manage the work flow of direct report; US Marketing Manager
Events/Partnerships
Work with the Marketing Director and each Salon Director to identify local partnership opportunities as well as client outreach programs, that cater to their market
Concept to completion on all events, inclusive of; VIP HJ Launches, HJ Dinners, galas, product launches, in-salon cocktails, openings and partner events
Partner with each Salon Director in the execution and management of programs in their regions
Create event briefs and on-board agencies
Constantly vet new event agencies in all markets to understand capabilities and how they can be of service to the brand
Analyze, gather and offer feedback from the comprehensive post-event follow-ups and recaps given by each Salon Director
Partner with the Merchandise Planning team to ensure that all event product needs are fulfilled, and make any changes or substitutes to the Merchandise List pending global product availability
Work closely with Security Directors to ensure that security measures are met and event merchandise used adheres to the insurance parameters
Work with the local Operation Managers to make sure that event product transfers are sent and delivered in a timely matter
Onsite supervision in overseeing all event product, inclusive of product set-up, product placement on models and packing all product securely post-event
Execute and propose unique gift ideas for events, holidays and celebratory occasions, while managing and fulfilling current event gifting programs
Partner with the US CRM Manager on curating guest lists for events, mailers and in-salon activations
Submit accurate Occasion Lists for market specific initiatives, while tracking the clients sales impact post-event
Develop elevated experiences and produce high touch communication tools for VVIP clientele
Philanthropy
Work closely with the US Marketing & Communications Director and Philanthropic Consultant on all existing and potential partnerships across the US
Continue to assess philanthropic organizations that fit the Brilliant Futures mission statement
Partner with relevant staff at philanthropy and create ways to communicate the brand to their top donors, board of directors and supporters
Seek executive approval for co-venture agreements with established partners, while creating outreach programs to communicate special offerings
Closely track and report closed transactions that are tied to a co-venture sale – to ensure the organization gets paid for the incremental donation
Coordinate product donations

Manage and closely monitor the Visual Merchandising budget
Facilitate and execute in-store and exterior Holiday decorations for all US Salons
Collaborate with Director of Visual Merchandising to create display forms, Jewelry/Timepiece presentations and/or vitrines for events
Budget
Manage and maintain the monthly US marketing budget
Submit expense tracking, budget analysis and project commitments to Finance monthly
Create necessary project sheets in the finance system, in order to process all vendor invoices in a timely manner
Regular Reporting to Include
ROI marketing report on Events, Partnerships, etc. based on sales analysis
Quarterly business analysis and competitive reporting to be submitted to the Global Marketing team

Job Qualifications
8 years professional experience in Marketing and/or Advertising
Experience in luxury preferred
Great interpersonal skills
Advanced analysis skills and strong writing skills
Problem solver, detail oriented
Proficient in Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience developing strategic presentations
Flexibility and multitasking skills a must
