We are looking for a Windows Specialist to play a dual role focused on residential window assessment, installation support, and field survey work. This position specializes in evaluating, measuring, and troubleshooting window systems while conducting general site surveys to support solar energy projects. The specialist ensures accurate field data collection, fosters customer confidence, and helps generate leads by identifying opportunities during home visits.
What You’ll Be Doing
Inspect Residential Windows: Measure, assess condition, evaluate structure, and report findings
Conduct Field Surveys: Gather rooftop, attic, shade, and electrical data for solar planning
Document Thoroughly: Create field notes, drawings, and reports to support engineering teams
Troubleshoot on the Spot: Identify window issues like broken seals or misalignment and provide basic fixes
Use Smart Tools: Work with measuring devices, mobile survey apps, and diagnostic gear
What You Bring
Experience with residential window installs, evaluations, or repairs
Knowledge of construction or electrical terms—solar or roofing experience is a bonus
Ability to read plans, use survey apps, and measure with tape or laser level
Strong communication skills and professional in front of customers
Physically able to lift 40+ lbs, use ladders, crawl into attics, and work on rooftops
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
