
Personal Insurance Carrier Placement Specialist - High Net Worth

Job Summary
Acrisure is seeking a Personal Lines Placement Specialist to join our growing High Net Worth Placement team. The role manages and executes new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts, overseeing timelines, exposure analysis, quote specifications, negotiation of coverage terms, and presentation of proposals.
Responsibilities
Maintain timelines and processes throughout new business and renewal cycles, including exposure analysis and negotiation of coverage offers.
Communicate effectively with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carriers.
Review policies and contracts, making recommendations for improvement.
Prepare property‑and‑casualty submissions: insurance specifications, ACORD applications, loss summaries, prospect profiles, exposure schedules, etc.
Analyze Excel spreadsheets of client exposure and loss data; develop financial loss‑sensitive models as needed.
Maintain familiarity with insurance carriers and wholesalers; rate policies in carrier systems when applicable.
Handle confidential information and comply with licensing requirements, including ongoing education.
Attend seminars, meetings, carrier events and educational activities to enhance product knowledge.
Provide coverage gap analysis and strategic recommendations tailored to each client’s risk profile.
Work independently and as part of a team on special and ongoing projects.
Identify opportunities to engage risk resources and partner with them for complex client solutions.
Provide on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
Education & Experience
3–5 years relevant insurance experience, with emphasis on middle‑to‑large market placements and High Net Worth accounts a plus.
Current applicable insurance license.
Excellent phone etiquette, written & verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Works with minimal supervision and accepts direction on assignments.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and Placement software; high Excel knowledge.
Experience with Epic a plus.
Strong organizational skills; multitasks and prioritizes work.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
Attention to detail ensures document accuracy.
Team‑player mindset with strong customer‑service orientation.
Knowledge of broker/agent markets; marketing large middle‑market accounts to carriers.
Strong knowledge of all applicable basic insurance coverages.
Proficient in creating proposal presentation documents.
College degree preferred; professional designation (CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU) preferred.
