Construction Superintendent - Custom Residential Projects

Hardwick General Contracting, a family‑owned residential builder serving Central Florida since 2004, specializes in custom home construction and high‑end residential renovation projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for luxury residential construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising active jobsites, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
Position Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities from project startup through final completion
Manage subcontractor scheduling, coordination, and on‑site performance
Monitor construction timelines and proactively resolve field challenges
Verify workmanship and installation quality throughout each phase of construction
Maintain organized, safe, and professional jobsites
Coordinate inspections, permit requirements, and municipal compliance items
Track materials, deliveries, and site logistics to maintain workflow
Communicate project status and updates with internal teams, vendors, and clients
Complete daily field reports and project documentation using company software
Enforce company construction standards and operating procedures
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of field leadership or superintendent experience in residential construction
Background in custom home construction or luxury remodeling preferred
Knowledge of residential building practices, sequencing, and quality control standards
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
Familiarity with residential permitting and inspection processes
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and construction/project management software
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Spanish communication skills helpful but not required
Compensation And Benefits
Annual salary: $75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
