Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent for a full-time, on-site position located in Hampton Roads VA. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily construction site operations, managing project schedules, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with subcontractors and team members to ensure successful project delivery. Additional responsibilities include budget monitoring, quality assurance, and effective communication to maintain project timelines and objectives. Qualifications
Proficiency in Construction Site Management and Construction Safety practices (5+ years) Strong Organization Skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex schedules Experience with maintaining of construction budgets of onsite components of projects Knowledge of Project Management principles and ability to lead diverse teams effectively Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in managing on-site challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders Familiarity with industry-specific software tools and technologies is preferred including Microsoft Office Relevant certifications in construction safety or project management are a plus Hands on experience in concrete work and build outs preferred; candidates should have direct field experience.
