
Legal Solutions Consultant (Private Funds)

About the Role
Ontra is currently seeking a Solutions Consultant, reporting to the Manager of Solutions Consulting, to join our growing Customer Success team. The role is a great opportunity for a mid‑level corporate associate looking to pivot into legal tech. We’re looking for someone excited to architect innovative applications of our product suite, engage clients post‑sale with tailored solutions, and collaborate across teams for seamless solution delivery.
What You’ll Do
Customer consultation: Engage with customers through consultation and account calls to understand their needs and align Ontra's product offerings to solve their specific challenges.
AI and document review: Audit and review the AI interpretations and team analyses of customer documents to ensure accuracy and effective implementation of solutions.
Training initiatives: Lead training sessions and educational activities to enhance the understanding and effective use of Ontra's products among team members.
Technical documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation that supports the implementation and use of Ontra's suite of products, ensuring clarity and usability.
Cross‑functional collaboration: Work with different departments to facilitate seamless client engagement, ensuring an integrated approach to solution delivery.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: 3+ years of related legal funds experience as an attorney or paralegal; familiarity with credit agreements is a plus.
Education: 4‑year degree required; JD preferred.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; experience working with highly sophisticated clients in a customer‑facing role.
Industry knowledge: Awareness of current trends and challenges in the private funds industry, particularly the adoption of AI and automation in legal workflows and evolving investor expectations.
Time zone flexibility: Ability to work in EST to effectively manage the customer base in the US and EMEA, with some flexibility.
Compensation This role is eligible for a 20% variable compensation component. Based on the base salary range below, the anticipated on‑target earnings (OTE) range is approximately $163,000 – $228,000. Actual earnings may vary based on performance.
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission, variable compensation, profits interest units, or other equity‑based compensation, which are not included in the base pay range.
