SEASONAL CLERICAL SUPPORT—SENIOR TAX RELIEF
INTERMITTENT SUPPORT
COLLECTOR OF REVENUE St. Charles County Collector of Revenue is hiring clerical help to assist with the Seniors Real Estate Property Tax Relief program.
CLERICAL SUPPORT
- Salary: $16.50 per hour - Up to 4 positions available
Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries from walk‑in taxpayers and record information as appropriate.
Greets and assists taxpayers face to face.
Collect and record tax payments from taxpayers, issue documents (Statements, Receipts, Duplicates, Certificates of Non-Assessment) in accordance with guidelines.
Verify all information for accuracy and make necessary changes as needed.
Assist in processing incoming mail and determine if documents received require special handling.
Research to locate new addresses on returned mail; code and file returned mail.
Research information not available in the current online system.
Perform data entry into collections system, spreadsheets, and word processing files.
Stuff envelopes, verify and track information, organize files and data, make copies, file, send e‑mails, research computer records and websites.
