Position Summary
Responsible for the timely and accurate application of customer payments to their respective accounts in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Payments are received by check, ACH and wire.
Analyze and identify payment exceptions that could not be easily applied. This requires extensive research and working closely with the client, other Accounts Receivable team members and Operations.
Assist in the management of a centralized Cash Applications email box for questions, corrections or other information being requested either from internal staff or clients.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Two years of cash applications or accounting experience.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required.
Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree – recent Graduate would be ideal.
