Must reside in the Oklahoma City, OK metropolitan area to be considered a qualified candidate for this remote Territory Manager opportunity.

The Role As a Territory Manager at CVRx, you will combine market development expertise with hands‑on technical support, ensuring the success of CVRx technologies in therapeutic applications. This role is dynamic and multi‑faceted, offering strategic planning, educational support, and direct clinical engagement. Success requires professional presentation skills, product knowledge, negotiation and closing sales skills to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and drive strategies, including resource development and deployment to meet patient implant and revenue goals.

Ensure execution of strategies to deliver on metrics within Territory.

Demonstrate expert proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, forecasting, and CVRx commercial business applications; teach others.

Maintain a thorough understanding of complex physiological and technical principles pertaining to CVRx technologies and therapies.

Support implants and follow‑up procedures and visits; provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to healthcare providers and CVRx employees.

Receive technical inquiries and research solutions to questions or problems.

Represent CVRx devices to leading cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons to ensure their understanding of the clinical therapy.

Provide on‑call clinical support as needed, including in‑service education and training physicians in one‑on‑one sessions and delivery of in‑service programs for hospital personnel.

Provide R&D support through customer feedback on product enhancements or new product development ideas.

Adhere to sales management processes and reporting systems to ensure disciplined implementation of commercial strategy; maintain an accurate record of devices and programmers in Salesforce.

Required Educational Training and Experience

BS or equivalent degree in health sciences, engineering, or business (or combination of experience and education).

7–10+ years of experience in the medical device industry, or combination of academic, clinical and market development experience with implantable medical devices.

Experience with products for cardiology or cardiovascular health, heart failure therapeutic devices, cardiac surgery therapeutic devices, or other related device sales.

Ability to master concepts of a medical and surgical nature and active implantable medical device technology.

Effectiveness in execution of successful commercial strategies through demonstrated market‑development abilities.

Experience working with KOLs, APPs and other key healthcare contacts in this territory.

Knowledge of prior authorization challenges and compliant tactics to overcome them.

Knowledge of the market with clear understanding of competitive devices, strategies, advantages/disadvantages.

Patient focused—understands insurance authorization challenges and is capable of working through them.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff.

Strong presentation, negotiation and closing sales skills.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to earn the respect of others.

Ability to accurately forecast territory performance and deliver to goals.

Aware, independent, self‑motivated, high achiever, persistent and resilient.

Ready to travel up to 75 % annually; some overnight travel required.

Must have a reliable car and valid driver’s license.

Valid identification approved for domestic air travel.

Preferred Educational Training and Experience

MBA or other advanced degree.

Direct healthcare or clinical experience is highly beneficial.

Demonstrated success in a clinical or other role within CVRx’s commercial organization.

Working Conditions and Required Physical Effort

Normal remote office conditions; self‑management needed.

Interfacing with internal departments, physicians, healthcare professionals, investigators, and customers.

Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs without stress.

Must travel up to 75 % plus per year.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 and meet pre‑screening requirements.
