Position Summary
The Manager – Reporting Analytics & Insights Development will own the design, development, and delivery of enterprise analytics and reporting solutions, translating business needs into scalable data integrations, SQL‑based solutions, and actionable insights
Applies strong analytical judgment and data curiosity to interpret complex data, build high‑impact visualizations, and support informed decision‑making across technical and business stakeholders
Leverages modern tools—including SQL, enterprise data platforms, visualization tools, and Microsoft Copilot—to improve analytics efficiency, automation, and solution quality while informally guiding peers through best practices
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to independently own and solve complex problems, quickly learn new technologies, and drive outcomes as an individual contributor without direct people management
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
Solid understanding of enterprise data, data flows, and how analytics and reporting support operational processes and business decision‑making
Proven ability to translate business requirements into well‑designed, scalable technical solutions, managing deliverables, timelines, and quality with limited oversight
Advanced proficiency in SQL and enterprise data technologies, including GitHub, Visual Studio, SSIS and SSRS, with hands‑on experience developing, enhancing, and supporting production reporting and data integration solutions
Working proficiency with Microsoft Copilot and AI‑assisted tools, including effective prompt engineering and configuring Copilot‑supported workflows or agents to improve analytics efficiency, automation, or business processes within established enterprise governance guidelines
Experience creating high‑impact, data‑driven visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to support analysis, storytelling, and leadership decision‑making
Experience working across multiple relational databases and cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle, Teradata, Google Cloud Platform), while effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated data curiosity and a strong desire to understand the “why” behind the data, proactively identifying issues, opportunities, and improvement areas
Ability to provide informal technical guidance, share best practices, and support peer development without formal supervisory responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience applying Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or other AI‑assisted tools to support analytics, reporting, documentation, or workflow automation in an enterprise environment
Strong experience designing and delivering data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI, with an emphasis on usability, clarity, and executive‑level storytelling
Experience working with healthcare data domains (e.g., claims, pharmacy, clinical, provider, or operational data), including familiarity with data quality considerations and regulatory sensitivity
Demonstrated ability to use data visualization and analytics to tell the data story to the business stakeholders
Education
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science or equivalent experience

Pay Range $60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
