Responsibilities As a Mobility Specialist, you are the front‑line representative for Metropolis Parking, serving as the face of our technology‑driven parking experience. You assist customers in navigating and enrolling in our parking technology while delivering courteous, professional service. This role requires stamina, attention to detail, and a customer‑first mindset in a fast‑paced environment.
Mobility Specialists also maintain compliance with parking policies, keep lot conditions clean, and support operations of Metropolis facilities. The position offers growth potential in our expanding technology platform.
Greet and assist guests in parking lots and garages, providing professional and friendly service
Educate customers on Metropolis parking technology and assist with enrollment as needed
Promote positive customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent service
Respond to customer questions and concerns confidently and courteously
Patrol assigned lots to identify vehicles without proper payment or authorization
Issue parking violations in accordance with company policies
Document violations using company‑provided mobile devices, including photo documentation
Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, garages, and common areas
Identify and report debris, spills, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly
Sweep floors, collect trash, and empty receptacles as needed
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including cleaning, washing, oil changes, and minor upkeep
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Observe all safety protocols at all times
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Prior parking industry experience preferred, but not required
Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to go above and beyond
Comfortable using mobile devices and technology (iPad, iPhone, Android)
Excellent verbal communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods (up to six consecutive hours)
Visually inspect vehicles and access all areas of garages and lots
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
