We’re partnering with a Series A AI start-up backed by top-tier investors, looking for their first in-house Founding Business Recruiter to build and scale the talent engine during a pivotal growth phase.
This is a rare opportunity to design the recruiting function for Product, GTM, and business teams from the ground up, partnering closely with the founders to shape how the company attracts and hires exceptional talent as it scales.
What You’ll Do
Own full-cycle recruiting across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations Scale hiring to support 4× team growth over the next 12 months Directly source, engage, and close world-class start-up talent (typically 10–15 hires per year) Build and optimize recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience Partner with founders on headcount planning, org design, and talent strategy Develop sourcing channels across direct outreach, agencies, and investor networks Track and analyse key hiring metrics to drive continuous improvement Shape the employer brand and candidate narrative in a competitive AI market Over time, hire and lead a team of recruiters as the company grows What You’ll Bring
5–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth start-ups (Series A–E) Proven ability to hire top Product, GTM, and business talent in competitive markets Strong sourcing and closing capability with a consultative, strategic mindset Experience partnering with founders and executives at early-stage companies Familiarity with modern ATS and sourcing tools (Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem, HireEZ, etc.) Why Join?
