
Associate Product Manager, Digital Product Management

Overview
The Associate Product Manager is a key member of the eCommerce team, supporting the definition and delivery of products that align with business goals and drive value for our customers. This role requires a foundational understanding of product management principles, a passion for the iOS ecosystem, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional mobile teams. The Associate Product Manager champions the mobile app experience by defining scope and priorities that align with the product strategy, all while refining their craft under the mentorship of the Senior Product Manager. Responsibilities
Support the Product Manager or a product team in defining product priority, scope, and direction aligned to a defined product strategy for a single product team with low complexity. Develop a comprehensive understanding of iOS-specific functionality and capabilities. Assist in gathering and documenting requirements from business stakeholders and through market research. Contribute to the product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, and deployment, App Store Submissions, under guidance. Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog according to business value and strategic objectives. Support product discovery activities to understand customer needs and validate product ideas. Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product success and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure clear communication and alignment. Assist in preparing product documentation, presentations, and training materials. Learn and apply “best in class” product management methodologies and practices. Guide and influence the priority, scope, and direction of a product team, often in partnership with a Product Manager. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Foundational knowledge of Product Management Practices with an interest in iOS. Passion for understanding and meeting customer needs. Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts through active inquiry; a self-starter who proactively hunts down answers and asks deep questions to bridge gaps in their own understanding. Good problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze situations and App performance data. Strives to anticipate potential roadblocks and takes initiative to gather information before being prompted. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A drive to achieve results and contribute to impactful products. Adaptability and a willingness to learn and experiment. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Basic stakeholder management skills. Developing strategic thinking capabilities. Commitment to ongoing learning and development in the field of product management. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheets. Understanding of Technology delivery lifecycle fundamentals. Developing business & product area acumen. Experience Required
Product Management or relevant experience: 1-2 years. Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent work experience.
