Director, Employer Partnerships

Local Infusion, Nashville, TN, United States

Job Overview We are seeking a results‑driven sales professional to build and own Local Infusion’s employer channel in New England. The role focuses on leveraging an existing network of regional brokers and benefits consultants and prospecting self‑funded employers, union and Taft‑Hartley funds, and public‑sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Broker & Benefits Consultant Ecosystem – Leverage and expand existing relationships with regional benefits brokers, consultants, and advisors across New England; depth and productivity measured.

Employer Pipeline – Prospect, qualify, and close contracts with self‑funded employers, collaborating with brokers to position Local Infusion as a specialty infusion partner.

Union & Taft‑Hartley Plans – Identify and pursue Taft‑Hartley funds, union‑administered health plans, and labor‑affiliated benefit funds across the region.

Municipal & Public Sector – Build relationships with municipalities, school districts, and other public‑sector employers who self‑fund benefits.

Market Development – Own the full sales cycle, focusing on outbound activity and disciplined pipeline management in CRM.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with clinical, operations, and health plan teams to ensure smooth implementation and account retention.

What Success Looks Like (Year One)

Actively manage relationships with 20+ regional brokers and consultants presenting Local Infusion to their book of business.

Consistent, documented outbound prospecting activity – meetings booked and pipeline created, not just inherited.

Close new business and convert pipeline into signed contracts across employer, union, and municipal account types.

What We Are Seeking

Proven broker/consultant relationships in New England – name 15–25 regional brokers/consultants who trust you (non‑negotiable).

Hunter mentality – thrive on outbound prospecting, cold outreach, events, building pipeline from zero.

Self‑funded employer sales experience – understand self‑funded employer decision process, stop‑loss, employer‑broker‑TPA relationships.

Specialty benefits or healthcare background – prior experience selling specialty pharmacy, infusion, PBM, specialty benefits, or relevant healthcare solutions strongly preferred.

Union/Taft‑Hartley familiarity – meaningful plus, not required.

Honest self‑assessment – realistic view of strengths and gaps.

New England residency – Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine.

Benefits

Medical, dental, and vision insurance through employer plan.

Short and long‑term disability coverage.

401(k) with company match.

20 days PTO + sick time; competitive paid parental leave and flexible return‑to‑work policy.

Professional development opportunities to support career growth.

We don’t discriminate – Local Infusion is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. We believe a more diverse and inclusive team leads to a stronger company.
